The Threadster bookmarklet is a small browser shortcut that lets you download Threads videos on Desktop without leaving the page. To add it, drag and drop the button below to your browser's bookmarks bar.
When you are on a Thread that contains a video, click the Threadster Download bookmark in your bookmarks bar and you will be taken directly to the download page with the video ready to save. Pick your preferred quality and hit Download. That is the whole flow.
The bookmarklet works on most desktop browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, and Opera. Mobile browsers generally do not handle bookmarklets well, so on your phone you are better off using TVD on iPhone or Threadster on Android.
